A walk on the wet and wild side from Sandown to Shanklin!The tide was high and waves whipped up against the sea wall.
Yes, we did get soggy ankles, despite our best attempts at timing our runs between waves!
But we didn't mind as the lunch at the Fishermans Rest, at the foot of Shanklin Chine was worth the walk! ...more

Been a long time since our last visit to Birdworld in Farnham, and it's just the same. We briskly took the suggested route ( apparently suggested by a parrot called Ivor?) round as there was an Autumnal chill in the air.Tried to capture some birds at the seashore enclosure in flight, but in the end these best photo was of a duck ( just before it decided to move into the water)! ...more
Flytastic Show at Shuttleworth

Perfect weather conditions for us, but not for planes - but nevertheless a good show was put on at Shuttleworth despite the wind.Sitting right on the flight line, gave us a great view of the air show and I captured some great shots.
The sky/clouds shifted well throughout the day, providing a varied backdrop! Nothing worse than a grey murk lurking!

Today "Photoescapes" started off on it's journey to become a livewebsite in the near future. What is photoescapes?
It is a window for friends, family and interested others to browse through and see the world as I have seen it!
It's very difficult to describe my style of photography , as I'm happy to experiment at will, which makes planning my first gallery a real challenge!
I hope everyone who visits my little space on the web, finds something they like and maybe in the future would like to keep seeing! ...more
